On Wednesday, LEO was honored to be selected to host the press conference to announce a new partnership with United Way and National Grid to mobilize a network of community-based organizations to implement efforts to help seniors and energy burdened families stay connected to essential utilities through a $2.2 million investment. This investment will provide direct relief and fund outreach efforts throughout the Commonwealth. Last night we had a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) themed event for our community. Children and families had the opportunity to explore, create, and even make original inventions. We were fortunate to have the Lynn Police Department Ice Cream truck on hand, they are incredible! 126 children and 64 parents attended, fantastic turnout! #CommunityAction #peopletogether #wearefamily
