Are you interested in work that will provide vital community support?

Would you like to earn and potentially save money to use towards paying down your student loans?

The AmeriCorps VISTA Program at LEO Inc. is the opportunity for you!

The AmeriCorps VISTA Program (Volunteers in Service to America) works to fight poverty in low-income communities by engaging Americans from all walks of life in a year of full-time service. VISTA members support the program’s purpose through three objectives:

  • Encouraging volunteer service at the local level
  • Generating the commitment of private sector resources
  • Strengthening local agencies and organizations that serve low-income communities

Life as a VISTA at LEO Inc.

In the Fall of 2022 we welcomed Hannah Gearan as our Videographer and Communications VISTA. She worked with our staff and Head Start students to create this compelling recruitment video used to bring in more qualified teachers. Her video made a huge impact on social media and on our YouTube channel. In addition, we are seeing more and more applicants.

Her contribution will no doubt be lasting and meaningful as she volunteers with LEO. Check out her work below!
